"A sister is both your mirror and your opposite..." - e. fishel

I'm an only child, which means I probably glamorize the whole "sibling bond" thing, but I grew up always wanting another kid to share in the experience of being part of my nuclear family.  It was just me, Mom and Dad every holiday, every vacation.  Which totally has it's perks (I got the whole backseat to myself on road trips, firstly), but I still felt left out of the sibling loop that most of my friends had, for better or worse.  Brothers and sisters seemed to me like a built-in friend and enemy for life, in a way.  A touchstone to compare and compliment oneself.  Every family is so unique (good and bad) and to have someone to look back on those shared moments of your youth, is a pretty amazing thing.

Here are a few images from a shoot I did of sisters, Alivia and Lauryn.  They're so alike and so different in so many ways, but both very cool young women.  I even got their mama, Heidi, to jump in for a few shots.   Enjoy   xoxo km

Emma (Southside Senior)

This is Emma.  She is super pretty and cool and lets me dress her up in boho clothes.

She plays piano. And guitar. And softball.

Emma is so cool that she lets me pose her in odd places all over town.

Like here.

Also here.

And a few around here.

And here.  (we caught the moon!)

She even lets me take "twinsie" pics with her and her sister.  Like this.  (No, they are not actual twins.)

Did I mention she has the kind of eyes that change color?

Overall, the world better look out.

Congratulations on getting into IUP and best of luck, Emma!!!

xoxo km
